Miss Moffett Variscite - Candelaria Variscite from the Candelaria Mining District, Esmeralda County, NV

This is Miss Moffett Variscite. An interesting detail: the Miss Moffett Mine is associated historically with several other names, including Blue Boy, Blue Mine, Persian Blue, and the Los Angeles Gem Company Group. The area produces both turquiose and variscite. 

Miss Moffett is particularly known in the lapidary world for a green variscite with tight dark brown/black spiderweb matrix and it is sometimes called Candelaria Variscite. 

This stone was originally sourced from Dillon Hartman at gemdesigner on IG, so you know it's top-quality and high-grade material. Some of you have been asking why I am letting go some of my stash - simply because I have thousands of stones that I will never be able to use or set myself... so selling these beauties to those of you who know great cabs when you see them. (And understanding that I am not making a profit - I am either selling at below my cost or at cost).
